A decent Asian fusion restaurant in Atlanta, who da thought?!?  Ever since I've been in town I was in search for good Asian food (I know I know). This is near my conference hotel. I had an early dinner here. I was greeted and seated right away. I ordered  Vietnamese egg rolls and shrimp and scallops pad Thai. The egg rolls were basically two cut in half. It was ok. The pad Thai tastes good. Almost as good as what you'll find in the Bay Area.

I ordered a volcano ice cream. It's basically ice cream encased in pastry dough and fried. That was just lovely.

Food came our hot and nicely plated. Portions were good (I didn't feel hungry after I was done). Staff was pleasant.

Recently visited Pac Rim Bistro with a few girlfriends for lunch. We got there right when they opened at 11:30am. There were not many people in there, but service was pretty delayed. They were polite, but seemed our server was distracted at times.

My friends and I all ordered Bento boxes.
We had the following (Everyone said that their food was superb):
    - Basil Chicken
    - Spicy Seven - Flavored Beef
    - Malaysian Curry Chicken (I had this)
    - Malacca Shrimp
    - Green Tea (you get a lot, so one pot would fill a whole table, but I think they want to charge everyone separately because I asked for a cup and I got a pot.

    * We will definitely be returning. There was plenty of food

Usually I'm skeptical of places that try to serve food from multiple Asian ethnicities, but pacific rim turned out to be a great place in the area for lunch. I came here with some coworkers to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed the experience. I ordered the chirashi bowl special and wasn't expecting something this fresh that also looked this amazing, so I was very happy about my choice. My coworkers also enjoyed their sushi and pad Thai, so I'm excited to come back and try something else! (I've also heard amazing things about their happy hour specials.)

We looked for a good sushi restaurant in the area. At first glance the place looked good. The sushi and Asian food was sub par. They added things to make the food look good but at the end of the day it was basic. The tofu stir fry was bland. The only thing saving this place is the service. The waiter was great!!!!

I have to say I wasn't impressed overall. Mostly due to the service, and a little bit due to the food.

After I sat down it took a while before someone came to ask if I ordered a drink, and even then I was still left waiting. Not the best start, but they seemed full so I wan't going to fault them only for that but the service was slow even after people started to leave.

Ordered the spicy calamari as an apetizer, and a a lemon based cocktail. The calamary was alright, and the maritini tasted goo but found a lemon seed (at least its fresh squeeze!). The main course was less appetizing. I ordered the grilled shrimp and roasted vegetables (just ok), and it came with a side salad with a long black hair mixed in. I didn't see the hair until near the end of my meal.

I figured that I would end with dessert, as a bad meal can be redeemed by a good dessert. Bad idea. I wouldn't recommend the fried banana. With 4 tiny pieces covered in thick batter and tiny scoop of icecream. Compared to the value of the other meals, whch were very reasonable this seemed overpriced (and not very easy to eat).
